Icing sugar
Also called powdered sugar, confectioners' sugar, poedersuiker
Very finely powdered white sugar, usually with a little starch; dissolves instantly for icings, buttercream, glazes and dusting cakes and waffles.
What can replace it

Blitz very fine with a little cornflour first, or icings turn gritty.

Blitz to a powder first; grainier and won't make a smooth icing.
