Also called steak rub, Montreal steak seasoning
Coarse mix of salt, cracked pepper, garlic, coriander and chilli flakes, Montreal style; rubbed on steaks, burgers and roast potatoes.
What can replace it

Sweeter and smokier, so it can burn on a hot pan; cook a little gentler.
- T2 · GoodGarlic salt
Garlic and salt only; add cracked pepper and chilli flakes.
- T2 · GoodSeasoned salt
Finer and less peppery; add coarsely cracked black pepper.
- T3 · In a pinchCajun seasoning
Hotter and more paprika-led; less peppery crust.

Just the pepper; add salt and garlic powder. (use 0.5× the amount)
